Description

Vitamin B12 is one of the essential water-soluble vitamins that the body needs in small amounts. Nevertheless, it plays a vital role in DNA synthesis in the body and supports metabolism by converting food into energy.

It also helps in the production of red blood cells and supports brain and nervous system functions

What are the benefits of B12 IV drip?

  • Vegetarians, due to Vitamin B12 being more available in animal sources.
  • Elderly individuals, due to reduced stomach acid which affects vitamin absorption.
  • Pregnant and breastfeeding women, as they require higher amounts of Vitamin B12 to support the growth of the fetus and infants.
  • Those with digestive system diseases such as Crohn's disease or celiac disease, due to issues with the body’s ability to absorb Vitamin B12.
  • Those taking certain medications that affect vitamin absorption.
  • Those suffering from numbness or tingling in the limbs.
  • Those following a low-protein diet.

Is Vitamin B12 safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

Scientific research indicates the necessity for pregnant women to take oral Vitamin B12 supplements to support fetal brain and nervous system development, and for breastfeeding women to avoid delayed growth in infants and motor and cognitive development issues.

As for intravenous administration, the dosage should be determined by a specialist doctor. You can consult our physician from here.

Say goodbye to joint fatigue and strengthen your nervous system with Evercare’s Intravenous Vitamin B12 Infusion.

Side effects of Vitamin B12 IV infusion

As for intravenous solutions, there is insufficient scientific research on the side effects of intravenous Vitamin B12 solution, except for a metallic taste in the mouth and, in rare cases, dizziness or mild headache.
